An army spokesman sent a video to the people of Gaza in Arabic, saying: “Residents of the northern Gaza Strip and Gaza City, I will come back and tell you to leave your homes to the area south of Wadi Gaza for your safety.”
The spokesman added in front of a line of tanks: “I urge you to go to the open areas west of Khan Yunis, and if you are in need, international humanitarian assistance will be sent to these areas. Do not leave Hamas to remain there, risking your lives. They, by your rule, will remain in your place to use you as human shields. Go to the south!”
The Gaza Strip has been subjected to Israeli land, sea and air bombardment since Hamas and other Palestinian factions launched Operation “Al-Aqsa Flood” on October 7.
The “Al-Aqsa Flood” was met with the Israeli “Iron Swords” operation, where the Israeli army launched raids on the Gaza Strip, which is inhabited by more than two million Palestinians who suffer from deteriorating living conditions, as a result of an ongoing Israeli siege since 2006.
The death toll from the Israeli bombing in the Gaza Strip and the West Bank reached more than 3,200 dead and 11,181 thousand wounded. On the Israeli side, 1,400 people were killed, including 291 officers and soldiers, while Hamas captured 199 Israelis.
It is unfortunate that this happened and none of the European countries moved to stop the aggression and prevent the displacement of thousands of families, as if human rights came for the sake of Ukraine only and did not come for the sake of Palestine.
